Some say that having choice allows us to be free. Remember the days when you wanted a pair of jeans you had no more than 3 brands to choose from, and 2 or 3 styles per brand. Today there are more brands than I could ever name and so many styles and options that I confess to being overwhelmed by the choice available to me today. Giving advice

I was at a Scottish Chambers of Commerce meeting last night, sharing best practice with others on the Business Mentoring Programme. One hot topic of debate amongst the mentors was when someone asks directly for help and you have the solution at your fingertips. What do you do?
