Phil Wong, founder of authentic change

Phil has considerable leadership experience at senior levels in business. With over 15 years of coaching and mentoring, he brings considerable knowledge and expertise to help individuals and teams to fulfil their potential by overcoming their barriers to increased performance.

He works with managing directors and senior managers, helping them to meet the changing needs of their organisations. He coaches CEO's and senior executives in both public and private sectors. He focuses on enabling people to appreciate and fully access their leadership potential and to lead their organisations with greater authenticity and genuine emotional intelligence. He helps leaders distinguish and focus on the critical contribution that they can make and to examine those beliefs and behaviours that might be limiting their current leadership potential. He works to help uncover performance blocks at an individual, team, and organisational level.

Prior to working as an executive coach, Phil worked as an independent consultant. His projects ranged from leading sensitive business negotiations for a personal development business to implementing programme management into a £3bn product portfolio for a major pharmaceutical company. In a career spanning 18 years, he has held a number of senior operational and functional roles in major companies. He has extensive hands on experience of managing large and diverse teams, taking organisations through major change, and delivering tangible improvements in service and quality.

As a professional, Phil is an accredited Executive Coach, having a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching with Strathclyde University Business School, to EMCC's Practitioner Standard. He abides by the EMCC's Code of Ethics, and retains his link as a Chartered Engineer of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. Phil also works as a volunteer mentor, helping young long term unemployed people back into work.

Phil is keenly interested in personal development for himself as well as for others. He also enjoys outdoor pursuits, especially hill walking in the Highlands and visiting the many and varied islands of Scotland . He enjoys these pursuits with his wife and also has the joy of bringing up two wonderful children.

Peter Farr

Peter Farr, has over 30 years of senior management experience in the private and public sectors in the UK and Australia as well as running his own business.   He has held a number of top positions in training and development in national organisations including Barclays Bank, the Civil Service and local government.

Peter started coaching and mentoring while in the Civil Service.  Specialising in clients in the early part of their management or senior leadership career, he has coached and mentored clients in the Civil Service, the police and business services.  Peter is both a Chartered F CIPD and F InstLM , and is an accredited EMCC executive coach.  Peter has undertaken considerable continuous professional development and has completed a postgraduate qualification in executive coaching at Strathclyde Business School.  For more about Peter click here .
